The glorious illusion of contrast.

Black with its inky thick darkness,
White with it fluffy light brightness.

Black with its absorption of all that is,
White with its reflection of all that is.

Black needs White,

White needs Black.

Black sings to the depths of contrast,
White speaks of form into existence.

Black rivets in line of darkness,
White radiates the essence of colors.

Black whispers to stability and structure
White declares of freedom and grace.

Black needs White,

 White needs Black.

Black balances White
White balances Black.

Black marries White
White marries Black.

Balance is restored,
Restoration is balanced.

Black needs White,

 White needs Black.

White & Black, seeming opposites,
Black & White, One and the same.
